Have fun being irrelevant and having zero chance of changing anything.
Independents aren’t going to matter until they get their shit together and start winning local/state elections so they can get some kind of presence in Congress.
I’m going to go ahead and assume she’s going to do jack shit in regards to helping make that happen.
As opposed to being in the Democratic Party and being irrelevant and having zero chance of changing anything because it’s full of stodgy old liberals who would step over their dead mother to keep progressives out.
Also, independents don’t matter but Bernie has a higher approval rating than any Democrat.
I mean we have talked about this before. But for everyone else in the class i am talking about everything. Remember i was the guy you argued with about forcing progressive policy with conditional voting. You don’t get that by voting blue no matter who.
I mean. I see You as part of the problem. You have no answer to the rightward ratchet. And so i can only conclude that democrats rightward drift is not a bug to you it’s a feature and if that’s the case, i don’t rate your opinion very highly
I mean, you can admit that you don’t align with progressive policy and are a ‘the market will provide’ liberal. And i would just have to accept that.
But for some bizarre reason you just outright deny the rightward drift is even happening. Which was the incorrect play here. You can argue policy, you can’t argue facts.
The reason why a rightward drift is happening is because the right is better organized, have more judges in every level of the courts including SCOTUS and control every level of the government.
Ok.

Well i am not voting for democratic nominees unless they had prioritized progressive policies in the past, so she will be in good company.
Are you taking about the primary or the general here?

Got it so you’re part of the problem.
Primary is for change and general is for picking the better of the two choices.

The rightward ratchet is just another cliché designed to fit nicely into your biases and end all thought after that.

Not because of your rightward ratchet device.
