minus-squareDiplomjodler@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up21arrow-down2·edit-21 year agoI have a gaming PC, a Steam Deck and a PS4. But I’ll buy a Steam machine in a heartbeat.
minus-squarekrimson@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12·1 year agoSame. Currently missing a good way to make my Steam library available in the living room.
minus-squarecallouscomic@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up13·1 year agoI still use Steam Link for that. The little physical box. They still support it.
minus-squareDiplomjodler@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6arrow-down1·1 year agoAny old mini PC will run steam link.
minus-squarekrimson@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·1 year agoI used an Nvidia shield with moonlight but it keeps crashing on me as of recent. But a new standalone solution would be sexy.
minus-squarePsythik@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·1 year agoMeanwhile I just plug my PC into my TV and compute from the couch. Keyboard in lap, mouse on endtable or armrest. It’s ridiculously comfy.

minus-squarekrimson@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·1 year agoHaha ok ok. Maybe I just want something new and shiny from Valve.
minus-squareKühlschrank@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI have had problems with the official dock so I got a cheap third party replacement and it has been flawless.
minus-squareKühlschrank@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoIt quite often didn’t recognize the HDMI output so I’d have to try all kinds of things like rebooting and unplugging/replugging until it would finally output to my screen. Also had some trouble getting it to start charging a few times.
minus-squareKühlschrank@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoWow that might have helped actually. My third party dock never needed any troubleshooting like that though so I’ve stuck with that.
