Fuck Adam schiff. These wineries are what rich people do when they get bored just being socialites. Or they are generational wealth that has manifested in these vines.

This hurts immigrant labor in my state, deeply, it would be the only worry I have IF TRUMP WASN’T MURDERING PEOPLE IN THE STREETS BECAUSE THEY UNLOCKED THE CHEAT CODE OF PUTTING YOURSELF DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF A VEHICLE.

Frankly if all your energy isn’t put into stopping that shit Adam, then what the hell is the point, Canada should continue to ethically boycott the country.

Not that it matters - the fascists loooooove being hypocrites - they revel in it - but…

Remember how the wingnuts were positively giddy about the prospect of being permitted to run over protesters if they felt “threatened” (meaning, someone was blocking their car)? You had cops sharing memes like “All Lives Splatter” and people putting that sticker on their car, wearing the shirt, etc., gee what a knee slapper that is, hardy-har-har, what a great “dad joke” that is you guyzzz.

Because, you know, blocking traffic is the real threat to people’s lives, etc., how dare they, of course you should be able to run over protesters.

But in the case of ICE, you have unidentified, armed, and masked men, and, now, it is they who should be able to jump out in front of a car, and are supposed to be able to murder someone in their car?

The only thing that is even remotely consistent here is which side the conservatives are on. Just imagine if liberals started passing bills to make it permissible to run over an ICE agent if you felt threatened, and then, liberal politicians started sharing the equivalent of “All Lives Splatter”?

Can you just imagine the meltdown from the right, as well as the Murc’s Law Media?

They unlocked the cheat code of lying. They’re not even actually putting themselves in front of vehicles. They’re not that brave.

    Sorry California. You’re still America.

But also, it’s not just about boycotting the US, it’s also about supporting the Canadian economy to strengthen our country, given our next door neighbor is a demented lunatic, with apparently still tens of millions of supporters.

    So yeah, no.

But hey, if you want to secede and use all that sweet economic clout of yours to create Cascadia, you can have all that business back. If it means that much to you.

Love hearing about this every once in a while. It’s a nice reminder that Canadians aren’t as powerless as the US would like us to believe

Why don’t you write a DM to your president about reconsidering his trade war?

A Democratic U.S. Senator has taken to social media to urge Canada to reconsider its boycott on American alcohol, specifically wine from California.

In a post on X, California Senator Adam Schiff

I really wish we had an opposition party

Schiff should be campaigning to influence the people that started the trade war and continue to threaten the USA’s traditional allies and trade partners. Those people are in the US Government, not in Canada.

And Meredith Lilly sounds like a traitor, who is also pressuring Canada to back down and make life easier for Trump.

Meredith Lilly, who worked as an advisor to former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, believes the provinces are “overstepping their jurisdiction” with the ban.

The Carleton University professor and Simon Reisman Chair in International Economic Policy says she expects there are a number of conversations happening behind the scenes and hopes the federal government is pushing to get booze back on the shelves, and that provinces are listening.

“International trade negotiations are a federal responsibility, not a provincial responsibility, and so it’s my view that the provincial premiers should be working collaboratively with Ottawa and taking signals from Ottawa about what would be the best approach,” she told CTV News.

She says the trade irritant has “become quite a personal issue” for American officials on the file, including United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.

“It seems like this is one of the measures that could be taken quite easily to move the conversation forward in a more constructive way,” Lilly said.

California is still USA, and USA is a rogue nation led by a criminal psychopath.
We know half of USA don’t like Trump either, but he is still your President, and the threats and destruction he wields on the world is on America as a country, not Americans as individuals. That means Trumps actions are on behalf of ALL Americans, not just the idiots that voted for him.

Bold of you to assume Canada would accept them.

38% of Californians voted for Trump in 2024. (34% in 2020, 31% in 2016). Canada doesn’t want those people.

The USA has to fix its own problems. Don’t expect Canada (or anyone else) to come in and fix it for you.

Conservatives got 33.74% of the vote last election. Now they’re in the awkward spot of trying to move away from being Maple-MAGA to being pro-Canada and it’s not going well for them.

I was making a thing where I’m using Trump’s own words to showcase how dumb and out of touch he is. You shouldn’t take that statement too seriously.

I’ve added a sarcasm marker to make it more clear.
