“I never had the privilege of going to his island, and I did turn it down,” Trump said. “In one of my very good moments, I turned it down. I didn’t want to go to his island.”

“He did something that was inappropriate,” President Trump said on Monday. “He hired help. And I said don’t ever do that again. He stole people that worked for me. I said don’t ever do that again. He did it again, and I threw him out of the place.”

The “place” Trump was referring to was Mar-a-Lago, his members-only club in Florida.

Edit: Not going to make a separate post, but he also said this:

Donald Trump Says His Name May Have Been Planted in Jeffrey Epstein Files

“Now, they can easily put something in the files that’s a phony. As an example, Christopher Steele, wrote a book, we call the ‘fake news dossier.’ The whole thing was a fake. The whole thing was a fake. They can put things in the file that was a fake. Those files were run by sick, sick people.”

This quote is so fucking troubling. His PR people are evil, so I hope it’s super hard on them. He didn’t have the fucking privilege? If that doesn’t say that he’s a now an admitted child rapist, I don’t know what does.

Take out the slur and I’ll put this back up. I agree with your sentiment, but you could have said it in many other ways.

Fair. I don’t know how to edit, but I’ll accept the reason for taking it down. Honestly didn’t mean it as a slur, but i agree that there is no real way to distinguish.

Part of what the alt right and Trump supporters have done is to renormalize using that slur. It’s important to recognize that it’s usage is part of the “backlash” and not something a good person should say.

Completely fair, regardless of how i might or might not intend it, it’s use has been made too sensitive to use in a derogatory way at all. If the mod can repost without it, or send me the comment I’d prefer to repost without it, just can’t remember the rest.

Well if little donny two-scoops insists the Steele dossier is fake news, then I think we can be confident of its accuracy.
