“Donald, if you’re watching, we’ll put your name on it. You get to be the American president who finally guaranteed health care for every single American.”

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic Senator-elect from Michigan who ran on a progressive platform with Medicare for All at its center, said Friday that he doesn’t care what the policy is called so long as it passes, even during Donald Trump’s lame duck term, which will begin in January.

Appearing on Zeteo with editor-in-chief Mehdi Hasan, El-Sayed was asked if he agreed with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who a night earlier pronounced that he wasn’t so sure that if Democratic majorities in the US House and Senate passed a Medicare for All Bill that Trump wouldn’t sign it.

“If he wants to pass Trumpcare-for-All, I’m ok with it. He seems to like to put his name on things,” said El-Sayed.

He’s so easy to manipulate. Just make him think it’s his idea, slap his name on it, and let him sign yet another bill he didn’t read with cameras flashing and people calling him ‘sir’. Boom, socialism.

Just have Mamdani go and lobby Trump for it. Trump has such a man-crush on him. It might lead to some uncomfortable comments about Mamdani’s ass, but I’m sure Z would take those for the cause…

Yup it’s really easy to manipulate a Narcissist. All you gotta do is stroke their ego and they’ll eat right out of your hand. Tell them how wise and strong and powerful they are. That’s what Mamdani did.
