Yeah America has a habit of generating hope … and then crushingly disappointing everyone

I’ll believe it when I see it … otherwise I’m not holding my breath

You’re confusing neoliberals as an only other option to maga…

Anyone with a congressional Dem representative needs to contact their office and tell them they need to support a progressive for leadership.

We can’t afford the bullshit “looking into” that happened under Biden. We need a Speaker and Senate leader willing to put progressive legislation up for votes.

      Schumer/Jefferies won’t do that

It might genuinely kill me if they do it. The sheer surge of endorphins would be comparable to a full plate of fentanyl.

If you care about this issue (or others like affordability or investigations into corruption), try to talk to them/their staff about it in person. With enough voices doing so, it’s harder to ignore.

Here’s an example containing information on how to do so, if you’re invested in doing something and not just posting online about it: https://www.thoughtco.com/meeting-with-your-members-of-congress-3322076

It also shows how to write to them if that’s all that can be managed. Encourage others to do the same and respectfully hold them accountable to their mission statements. They may have been voted in, but they need to hear from their constituents to learn more about why.

We cannot guarantee any progressive legislation until the fascists in SCOUTS are either removed or the court is stacked with progressives
