Liberals full throatedly supporting a live-streamed genocide was quite surprising.

I thought most Americans would be revolted by their governments crimes if they saw them. Turns out they don’t care at all. America truly represents its people.

Idk why I would ever see it in a movie but I saw a group of crows harassing a hawk then the hawk got sick of it attacked one landed on a branch next to the road and ripped the crows throat out while the other crows watched the scattered. It just seemed so… deliberate. Like I said, idk why I would ever see that in a movie but it felt unreal to watch. I was driving when it happened and I actually stopped the car and stared in disbelief

I didn’t see it irl, only on video. It was a freaking hen. Two crows were ‘laughing’ at her, so she lunged at one, grabbed its tongue with her beak and ripped it right out. Felt like I’d just watched a snuff film.

When you collect enough absurdly unrealistic stories you start wondering if your life has been hallucinated. I’ll give my Looney Tunes example.

I fell into an open manhole once. I’m not exactly sure how it happened or why I only fell partway in. I didn’t fall deeper than my waist. My ex-wife gave me a hand out but we were in a rush and didn’t have time to stop and examine or process. It was during a blizzard and I have no idea if it should have been obvious not to walk there and I just wasn’t looking or what, my suspicion is that there was a mat or something over it that got covered in snow. We went by that area again like a week later and there was a manhole cover there.

One time I was waiting at a red light when I saw this lady rip through the intersection going like 60 mph (96 kph) while no shit T-posing on top of a motorcycle. I have no idea how she was controlling it, but it remains the most insane feat of skill I’ve ever witnessed in person.

“Hacked” into my “mysteriously completely disappeared except for some occasional calls that nothing was going on and things were alright” girlfriend’s facebook account, but only was able to stay there for one minute.
She logged in at that very next second and in that one minute I found out that she was cheating, pregnant and planning to marry that guy behind my back.

Dreamt (1998) that I was in the future (2010), and my street had be turned into a giant bike path and at the end of it there would be a tunnel at the end of my street.
15 years later I was jogging near my old neighborhood and needed to cross a busy road opposite at the end of my street, so in jest I told myself that the tunnel should be finished by now and guessed where the other end would be. Then I jogged through it and marveled at the street I grew up on had indeed turned into a giant bike path.

Wondered how to pick up girls, found a PUA site.
First chapter: How to most easily start an interesting conversation with just one simple question.
Last chapter: How to have a threesome with two girls who are best friends in five easy steps
Step 1. Be sure to bring a can of whip cream!
Step 2. Here’s how to convince both of them to play a game of strip poker with you…
Me: “LOL, yeah as if and why whip cream!? This site is a joke, although that first chapter seems fun to try out.”
One minute later, running into the first random girl I see:
    Me: “So what’s your story?”
Random college girl: “Well… I could tell you but you won’t believe it.”
Me: “I just read something so ridiculous on the internet, I believe anything now.”
Random college girl: “You won’t believe it.”
Me: “Trust me, I will believe it.”
Random college girl: “So me and my best friend and my boyfriend were playing strip poker and for whatever reason, he brought a can of whip cream…”

A community of people praising some local guy as the son of god and repeating that message for 2,000 years and creating a massive global cult that caused wars, genocide and many untold miseries on the population while also enriching, educating and leading global movements

The feature of that story always made me wonder how girls tried that over the centuries before one girl eventually had her story stick

One girl? It’s actually a super common thing in myths for gods to go down and make themselves a little demigod. Mary lived in a very hellenised region. So I imagine those type of myths were known to people there via the greeks. She was just following a long tradition.

Just watching Professor Dave or Crime Zone, there is a lot that happens that is just so ridiculous it would be rejected as a movie script.

You mean beside the 20ish voices inside my ADHD brain? Thanks, but we’re good. What would even be the point? I know why I am how I am, I’ve had nothing but time alone to dissected my traumas. Talking won’t change the past.

And laying out all my current issues, I’ve come to the realization that most of them could either be solved by hard work or money. Money that I don’t have, and work that I am not willing to do.
What use would the work even be? Invest another decade of my life for self-improvement to catch up to where everybody else was when we were teenagers?

When it comes to depression people have a fundamental misunderstanding of the condition. They are under the false impression that we want to get better.

            We do not.

What we want is to not have been bad in the first place. To get back the time lost to the disorder. Since none of that is possible we act like we don’t even want to get better at all. We don’t want an inch of happiness, we want the whole mile. If you feel depressed and don’t see yourself as an asshole, then whatever you have is not depression. There might still be a thread that you can twist into a rope to pull yourself out. I would just use the rope to hang myself with.

Depression is a chronic and terminal parasitic illness, not just an imbalance of brain chemistry and trauma. The best you can do is to quietly live in misery, and keep up enough appearances so that others don’t have to worry about you. Contrary to cancer you can’t break even with it, you don’t take depression with you when you die, it spreads to the people who were close to you.
