Find your nearest trump appointed person, eliminate them, and burn down your local republican headquarters. Make them talk. Make a ruckus. We do not have to obey. Destroy flock cameras. Take thier families hostage. MAKE THEM AFRAID.
As for me I’ll go rock back and forth with some pills in my hand debating then end of my story.
And what they’ve released in those files is already fucking disgusting and outrageous.
all the more reason to vote every single jackass out
they’re literally killing celebrities to keep people distracted. wild times.
Both no longer exist
Please remember that it doesn’t matter if Mitch is dead or not, he is demonstrably unable to serve and, according to the law, should be replaced.
When has the law ever mattered to MAGAts?
When democrats were in power, but not because they chose for it to matter. It only matters when they’re being forced to obey it.
They still have him out there casting votes, regardless of his ability. Less than a week ago I saw a video where he voted ‘incorrectly’ and watched as all the aides scrambled to tell him to shut the fuck up and demand that “that one doesn’t count” to the room. I’ve literally seen 4 years olds playing hide and seek with a better sense of awareness, fairness, and object permanence than our incompetent overlords
I think you’re talking about 10 days before, or are there different ones?
Senator Mitch McConnell was showing signs of utter confusion 10 days before he was hospitalized … voting incorrectly and even getting the Senate Clerk to signal yea or nay.
Charlie turned up some pretty shocking videos from June 4th, when the Senate had a marathon session called vote-a-rama, where Senators voted 29 times during an 18-hour session.

Oh! I didn’t know they brought him out. Weekend at Bernie’s style, or is he actually blinking and shit?
He’s blinking and kinda talking i think? Idk, he was pretty much confined to his wheelchair and looked extremely confused for most of it
I think you’re thinking of an old video of him in a wheelchair, he still hasn’t been seen in public since he went into the hospital.
Too many wealthy people, and forces that want to use the blackmail, who really pull the strings won’t let it out.
Children were abused,
The perps get away with it,
Who’s really in charge?
It really fucking angers me yhsy nobody is talking about yhr Epstein files anymore
Politicians should bring it up at every trade negotiation with that turd ball. You want 50% taxes? Fine, we’ll do that if you release all the Epstein files
AI slop? Really? Could just write that as a text post with a title.
We’re fighting amongst ourselves over it being AI? This wasn’t even about AI, it’s counter productive and exactly what gets us where we are, they have us chasing our own tails instead of Epstein and McConnell.
How can you tell?
It’s got the underline brush strokes of those generic AI flyers that ChatGPT craps out.
The font texture is also inconsistent but to be devils advocate it could be a Photoshop filter. Tbh though the underline brush strokes give it away as AI.
The way “please” isn’t correctly centered might be a giveaway. Or someone is just really bad at typography
You’re right, and “Remember” is a little off center too.
Someone with enough skill to make text with a seamless textured mask would definitely know to center the whole thing. Good catch.
Are humans incapable of underlining words for emphasis? Where else would AI learn to do that?
Why would this particular person, who presumably opened Gimp or Procreate or Photoshop, choose to use differing texture masks on the words, and a different texture on the brush strokes, and then after all this was done, completely fail to take thirty seconds to center the text?
Because there never was a person making these choices.
You’re missing the point.
It’s a distraction comment, pay no mind.
It actually isn’t. Resources were wasted conveying an important message which could be typed on a keyboard.
This could easily be a template or photoshop. Move along.
“Move along?” What are you, a cop?
What, you got a problem with a photographer who’s calling you out for adding slop to Lemmy? You’re putting words in my mouth saying I “made a distraction comment?”
Buddy, no, this ain’t it.
I made a template from https://imgflip.com/memegenerator and then edited it. We all good now?
Edit: As usual, it’s never about the AI behind a fucking text template. If it was, you guys would be thrilled.
It’s edited from imgflig. I hope you guys can all rest easy now.
This is a side effect that the billionaires who run the AI models are counting on: that people no longer pay attention to the message itself, but instead waste their time speculating about whether someone used a proper app or image generation.
You’ll never be able to close Pandora’s box. So…
I get that but the point stands its redundant, and the more people normalize this crap the worse it gets
What I’m getting at is this: People have been using it for a long time now, whether you like it or not. I don’t like it, but it’s still the reality. Pretending it isn’t helps no one—in this case, it’s even counterproductive for the reasons I mentioned.
That’s why I called it “Panora’s box”: This technology is out there—there’s no changing that, even if we’d like to.
I still don’t think that advocating for using a slop machine is a good look. The keyboard and the title box is right there. Much less effort, much more immediacy of message, screen readers can pick it up, and folks don’t have to download an image to see the message.
That’s a commendable attitude, but it doesn’t help in the face of reality.
I’m not using the goddamn AI slop ladle. It’s an active choice. No one is forced to ladle more AI slop onto the internet.
You are not forced to ladle more AI slop on the internet. All you have to do is to choose not to do it, and instead just type your message on the keyboard.
Think of it like Smurf accounts on apps in the Fediverse: Nobody wants that—it’s extremely counterproductive and unfair—but people do it anyway.
I’m not resigning on this.
Honestly I’m a bit surprised the Republicans didn’t just wait until the literal day after the deadline to say “oops, he’s actually dead. Haha fuck you we won.”
