    Everything else aside, it’s just incredibly distasteful (understatement) to slap your own name on somebody else’s memorial. Who TF thinks this is a good look?

      Trashy and shitty is the whole brand! I’m surprised he didn’t have his name made 5x larger and spraypainted gold, complete with vinyl sticker of Calvin pissing on JFK’s line.

        I personally think it’s a fragile man trying to create a legacy. It’s kinda just stolen valor but with buildings

          The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Consider certain graffiti. The person tagging a building doesn’t think that he is improving it. Rather, he is showing that he has the power to put his name on places where other people don’t want it. In doing so, he asserts dominance. That’s what legacy is in a zero-sum mindset where success must mean someone else’s failure - a record of whom he defeated.
