When thousands of people report an email as spam to be filtered in future, the servers learn that the account sending it may be spam, thus proactively filtering it. Reporting spam is supposed to result in less spam in the future!

Lemme tell ya, it’s not just Republican spam they’re filtering… Every time I check my spam folder, it’s absolutely overflowing with pestering emails from the DNC
