    Once everyone is convinced that laws are meaningless shit will spiral out of control. Like whose authority would I recognize over my own at this point?

    If masked thugs show up at my door they getting shot, I’m not taking their word for who they claim to be.

    And even if they are who they say they are, I will not comply with what I perceive to be illegal orders that I have no good faith that I’d be able to argue in a fair court of law, and even if I were convinced of that…

    WHAT DOES EVEN WINNING IN COURT MEAN IF COURTS ARE IGNORED?

          Meh, China’s influence in Africa has been orders of magnitude more benevolent than the US’s historical actions. I don’t think there should be any global superpowers, but if there has to be one, I’d rather have a socialist-aligned country than a capitalist one on top.
