Yep… and if you managed to pass the initial barriers of immigration, but have elderly parents that you’re concerned about, there’s 0 chance they’re getting into the country you were allowed into unless they’re already loaded. That’s the only way for the elderly.

Nah, 100% fuck that. After I moved to where I live now I registered as an independent because after 23 years of being a democrat, I’m now embarrassed to say that about myself and I also largely disagree with their capitalist bullshit.
How dumb to blame democrats for the actions of leftists. Democrats don’t do shit.
Also, none of that shit is inherently terrorism. It’s vandalism or criminal mischief until you consider the “political element.” The political element isn’t a thing since Elon isn’t running DOGE (as they claim).
You cannot claim the vandalism at Tesla dealerships is politically motivated since you also claim Elon isn’t the one running DOGE.

I guess I’m the only one against this idea. I’m not keen on candidates that have already lost running again. Get someone else up there to try.
I’m in a pretty similar position. 41, no kids, not married, around for elderly parents (missed work last week due to mom having a surgery), and the plans are pretty bleak for once they’re gone.
I’m not really interested in leaving the country even though I have some in-demand skills. My plan at this point is to be as big of a pain in the ass as I can to fascists. I’ll escalate once there’s no longer the responsibility of being around for my folks.
