IF Van Hollen manages to return safely, he’ll have to look over his shoulder for the rest of his entire life.
But I’m not convinced he’s going to come back.
If he lands on his head he’s liable to bounce back up.
If he actually believed it, that would be bad. But he doesn’t. He and all his family are vaxxed. That’s much worse. They’re just perpetuating the lie which keeps droves of uninformed idiots voting for them. At the cost of the lives of innocent children. But they won’t lose a night’s sleep over it.
Textbook brownshirts from the 30’s.
This was glaringly obvious from the get-go. Since there is no established legal route for anyone sent there or to Gitmo to ever get out again, the only way to exit is in a coffin. That’s why they won’t bring back Kilmar either. They want to establish that this is only ever a one-way ticket, no exceptions.
I hate that I read this and immediately went “yup, that’s how it’ll go” without a hint of irony.
As long as demand remains higher than supply they can practically ask whatever price they wish and people will pay it. Disgusting, but the businesses sinking dozens of millions into GPU’s just to keep their own AI’s from going on a 4chan racism bender will eventually run into that wall. It’s a technological dead end (at least in its current iteration) and the market is “winner take all” so there will only be a few big winners while others will be left holding the bags in the end.
V-coins and ma-shops are reputable and you won’t easily come across fakes there. Just stay away from Ebay and the like. Also, if you go for the affordable types (common denari or late roman bronzes) these are almost never faked since it’s not worth the effort. They cost like 5 bucks for decent pieces, maybe just a bit more if you want a nicer specimen.
So many innocents are going to die in the coming years. I wish I could warn them, but most of them seem to not care at all…
Ancient coins (2000-1700 years old) are surprisingly common and can be had very cheaply unless you want a specifically rare or perfect one.
I went through most of my life believing that anything older than say 200 years was automatically a museum piece or equivalent. But most museums of ancient history who display ancient coins have multitudes of the displayed coins sitting in storage. The Romans alone minted BILLIONS of coins over the span of the Republic and the Empire (that’s over 1000 years of history!) and if even 1% of them survive today, that’s still many, many dozens of millions.
Nothing will ever beat the C&c 1 DOS installer. Incidentally, that was my very first own pc game ever and the start of my gaming career. For some reason I expected that all other games in the future would have similarly impressive, artsy install procedures. That unfortunately never happened.
Then again I was spoiled for having c&c1 be my first ever pc game.
As long as Russia has bodies to throw at a conflict, it has no reason to stop. Russia fully switched to a wartime economy, not something you do if you’re not in it for the long haul. If the elections had turned out differently, things might have been differently as well. Alas…
I definitely hope I’m wrong about this. I claim no special insight or understanding other than simple pattern recognition and some decent knowledge of history.
WW3 is absolutely coming, make no mistake about it. The only thing that’s unclear at this point is the timing, and who will be on which side exactly when it happens. If you’re between 16 and 26 and live in Europe, this would be the time to get out. Conscription is unavoidable at this point.
Thanks for your answer! I was afraid I had posed the question wrong somehow but this is exactly what I was getting at.
Decent chance he’ll croak before the end of his term. Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part.
It’s worse than that. If wages had kept pace with productivity (thanks Reagan), we would have been working 2-3 day workweeks at full wages for over twenty years by now.
They literally stole over half of our lives. That amounts to class genocide.
I try to take some solace in the knowledge that throughout history, this sentiment (“our leaders are hopelessly corrupt and there’s nothing we can do about it”) was probably the de facto default for almost anyone. Not that that makes things better now but it helps keep things in perspective.
I hope they reciprocate. Might be a legal takedown order instead though.
