We (Americans) are well past the phase at which a French revolution style uprising would be at all effective. It would only give the powers in charge to excuse they need to crack down hard and openly seize more power.
The only chance we have for any level of meaningful change is for our supposed “allies” to develop a fucking conscience and commit to providing humanitarian and military support to those of us who oppose this shit.
However, that will never happen. The European powers can’t even commit to defending one of their neighbors when they’re being actively invaded by a clearly hostile foreign nation. They’re not even willing to defend themselves when that same hostile nation regularly violates their airspace and bombs their airports.
If you’re not willing to defend Ukraine why should we expect that you will help us?
This isn’t a French revolution scenario this is a nazi-occupied France scenario. Except there are no allies, there will be no D-Day, there will be no liberation.
