There’s so many reasons that it’s hard to focus on all of them. Hell, I’ve been paying attention and there is so much shady shit being done that I would have to keep a list.
The line for most people is their front door. When it affects them personally, they will act. The USA did not enter world war II to save the Jews. Most people are selfish cowards, including all of the armchair quarterbacks claiming that they would march into the Pentagon and start blowing holes in corrupt Congress people if only they had the right to own guns.
What about if citizens are detained and deported to foreign prisons without due process, all while blatantly ignoring the orders of judges?
