After President Donald Trump told attendees at the Republican midterm convention Thursday night that “we want honesty in our elections,” he led them in a pledge to “cheat like hell” and “go out and vote” in the midterm elections.
Let’s play the “just imagine” game and imagine if Hillary had said this. Or Kamala. Or Obama. Or Biden. Or Bill Clinton.
The cons would never, ever stop melting down. Same with the Murc’s Law Media, they’d probably still be writing Big Think Pieces on how imperfect the Democrats really are decades later.
Not trying to single you out. I think people often miss the point of how conservatives react. They’re tribal. It doesn’t matter what Hillary said, they would have been up in arms regardless, because they just want their team to win at any cost.
Yeah, I assume it’s because they are so ensconced in their filter bubbles in media, and many people probably have cut them off or at least try to avoid as much as possible IRL, that they hardly know anyone to the left of Hitler, and so they cannot imagine how Democrats win.
