President Trump got in the face of ABC’s Rachel Scott after she asked him a question about the rationale behind his national midterm voter bribe.

“Mr. President, on the checks: The U.S. is still $40 trillion in debt. If your economic policies are working, why do you need an incentive for people to turn out to vote?” she asked Thursday night.

The real question needed is “whatever BS justification for the cheque is, why does it have to be conditional on midterm results”, and why will this happen when $1776 aniversary, DOGE, and tariff refund cheques never did?

I hope any reporter that has to tolerate being in his presence is paid well.

I’d more likely assume he was falling over. I’d say that’s irresponsibly generous, though. A mild cough could be interpreted as impending death.

I assume they mean as in a verbal lunge, but as much as I hate clickbait shit, this doesn’t bother me even if it was meant as clickbait just because the actual situation is so bad that I don’t think putting it that way really oversells the sheer unacceptableness and misogyny.

But I"m normally on your side on these things, so I mean, you still got my upvote…

I guess, maybe, but I won’t give reporters in a business the benefit of the doubt. They can use their words to say what they mean rather than leaving so much space for vague interpreting, and they choose not to despite it being their literal job.

Definitely immature backlash. But more of a slight and slow lean forward, lunging implies a lot more. But hey, words today seem capable of transforming into any feeling, whenever needed so…who knows.

Walked in on teenagers changing at beauty pageants, talked about grabbing women by the pussy, loomed over Hillary Clinton in the debates, raped E. Jean Carroll.

This should surprise no one. He is a giant piece of shit.

That’s what so many love about him, though. The general message at that time was that Obama meant we were post-racial (even though his election drove conservatives to madness) and that it was “her turn” when it came to Hillary. Yeah, I didn’t really like the messaging around that, either.

But the racists and misogynists were fuming and fuming all during the 90s (Hillary being talked about as a co-President possibly made them even crazier than having to abide a black President did) and then during Obama’s 8 years as virtually everyone ignored their stupid “long firm birth certificate” demands.

When tiny d donnie came along and started saying and doing all the shit they say and do in private, because he’s supposedly a bigly billionaire who didn’t give a flying fuck about social norms because he has fuck-you money, they could not get enough. If Romney and McCain were their methadone, donnie is their China White.

They view donnie as the guy that put both Obama and Hillary “in their place”.

The people who vote for him wish they could get away with that too. That’s really were the whole cult of personality comes from: unbalanced people who would hurt others if they could get away with it–you know, like our police and military.

you can see him physically pull back and control himself as soon as he acknowledges the man next to her.

100% would have slapped her if there wasnt a man there, whose mere existence intimidated trump enough to step back.

They went for him again due to his “business skills” and will again for the enabling party in '28 if people don’t wake up and understand all this clearly. The feedback loop is really insidious: system caused artificial scarcity → need for escape → passive consumption → mental numbing → vulnerable to manipulation → decisions made from a place of anxiety rather than clarity → reinforcement of the systems causing the stress in the first place.

“I didn’t do it for turning out the vote, I did it as a reward for people having to put up with five years and four years of a horrible situation caused by Biden,” Trump replied

Then why doesn’t he do it today?

If Rachel Scott putt a right cross in that demented rapist’s swollen orange spewbucket the internet would have exploded. She’d retire rich and we’d be on our way to fixing this decimated hellscape.
