Episode 1056 of Democrats Are Worthless.
This is the corporatocracy in action. An unpopular GOP congress who refuses to check their own party’s Unitary Executive, and a Democratic Party leader who refuses to back a measure popular with citizens. Who wins? Health Insurance companies. Who loses? The poor who can’t afford health insurance, and those who have health insurance and can’t afford their deductibles, so they go without recommended healthcare.
Hakeem Jeffries has no business being in government.
Any government.
Any country.
Any level.
So continue to support DSA and those Dems who DO support univesal health care. Support them BEFORE the primaries. Support them by voting for them IN the primaries. And support them in the general election should they make it.
But just a quick reminder: A centrist Democrat will still stand up for more of your rights than a fascist, and this is where the “vote blue no matter who” comes into play. At every stage, support the candidate(s) that will protect our rights the most.
The time to act is BEFORE the general election.
