Germans and Koreans both consume way too much salt and should have a bunch of heart issues due to it as populations…
Where do people get their science. Salt is why we have kidneys.
Only people with certain types of hypertension have to avoid sodium in the diet.
Heart problems in Germany are due to obesity.
Sauerkraut/kimchee is a weird cheat code that doctors don’t really understand…
Like, it’s basically “free” salt. Germans and Koreans both consume way too much salt and should have a bunch of heart issues due to it as populations…
But they don’t.
It’s nothing genetic, nothing lifestyle related, it’s just that most of their salt is on a bunch of cabbage and for some reason that makes it ok.
Probably better off just eating cabbage or any leafy vegetable though, it’s weird how much people oppose salads yet claim they can’t lose weight.
But sauerkraut/kimchee is way more palatable and apparently the salt doesn’t matter.

Salt really doesn’t matter if you’re both properly hydrated, and get significant amounts of potassium. Bonus if you sweat frequently from exercise
I make my own sauerkraut and it’s about 1 tblsp per lb of cabbage. Which honestly isn’t too bad compared to other UPFs
Sauerkraut promotes a healthy gut microbiome.
Ah, and those hamburgers and fries are all salt free for some reason?
Better put kimchi on top
What?!
Like, what the fuck are you even talking about?
