Truckers will lose their license if a cop gets something up their ass as it is. I’ve got a trucker friend and the liability and risk to your livelihood every single day is crazy. Make no mistake that they’d be taking away licenses from some of the best drivers on the road simply because they’re brown… Something cops already do when they tell their dog to signal. It’s pretty fucked when proving wrongdoing is so cumbersome to your racism that you’d rather change the proving part than the racism part.

How’d that work out for Canada?
In my entire life I’ve seen one accident involving an immigrant truck driver whereas I’ve seen car crashes involving pissed off or entitled white people more often than I can count.
I think you’ll find they’re employed by American companies.
He has a partial point. There are truckers out there who can’t even speak english, let alone know required safety procedures. But that’s not really the fault of those truckers, they are being taken advantage of.
Yet again the real villain in the immigration story is the employers.
