Somehow these are two bad things that we’re supposed to juggle in our heads simulateously.
Where is the American liberal out saying “Holy fuck, we were wrong to attack and Iran deserves far more than the pittance Trump is offering”? Where is the American liberal saying “The Federal government should not continue to be allowed to welch on it’s debts to the people it has wronged. We must hold future administrations to the task of reparations we’ve agreed to today”?
Instead, it’s just a litany of “Trump Bad! Trump Bad!” as though the rest of the federal system wasn’t rubber stamping this Holocaust from day one.
And Iran thinks he will pay? Lol a Trump never pays his debts.
Trump is a lot more generous when it’s not his money. He’ll pay.
He treats our money like it’s his.
Congress has to agree to disburse it and that is no guarantee.
He never pays with his money, this isn’t his money and if gas prices go down a fairly large percentage of americans will say “we kicked Iran’s ass”.
It’s not Trump’s money. He’d give them trillion’s of US taxpayers’ money if it made him look better.
