Started to see this bullshit on the rise with people vibing their way through deciding on the vaccination schedule (or not) for their children as early as the 90s (in my anecdotal experience). I’d just shake my head at younger boomers, people in my generation (Gen X), and even more so at Gen Y, since I seemed to run into so many in Gen Y that bought into the antivax nonsense. Definitely got into arguments with people over it.

It’s all so very stupid. My mom (boomer) and my grandmother (Greatest Generation) were both nurses and they were both livid about this new stupid trend back then. It’s only gotten stupider since then, apparently, now getting an endorsement from an Idiocracy that seized power.

It’s too bad it’s so hard to pass down wisdom to younger generations. Of course, conservatism intentionally makes that even harder to do. So many seem hell-bent on learning hard-knock lessons of about a century ago.
