Looks less and less like “worst of the worst” and has always been “brownest of the brown”.
ICE is a terrorist organization ran by a criminal
Tax payers. They arrested 75,000 tax payers. Oddly enough if they arrested the 75,000 richest Americans, it would have a smaller negative impact on overall income tax revenue.
We’re still calling them “arrests”?
You have to slowly move the overton window, if you say kidnapping, people think you’re “overreacting”

It’s not an immigration crackdown, they’ve made it very clear that we in the US are engaged in ethnic cleansing. Really nakedly, quiet part out loud, no dog whistles needed, ethnic cleansing.
And we will never see 96.9% of them ever again. tRump and Project 2025 are killing/imprisoning/disappearing them “legally”. 🤷♂️
That’s a weird way to say innocent people?
I mean, a criminal record really doesn’t mean much. Serial jaywalking by a college during the first week of summer quarter will net you plenty of citations, but I see nothing wrong with it.
Agreed, but when the
messagingpropaganda has been “MS13! We’re going after the worst of the worst!” and the reality is arresting Abuelas with no criminal records who have been here 40 or 50 years… yeah…As they say, if they’re white, say good night. If they’re brown, put them down.
Even more so when you realize that demonizing “jaywalking” was a corrupt scheme by rich fucks to steal the streets from the people and it shouldn’t be illegal at all.
I still don’t understand how the term caught on. “Jay” is fantastic, as far as pejoratives go. It’s evocative and descriptive and just gosh darn tasty. But “jaywalker” feels like saying someone has a green thumb for construction. Just, like, what the fuck are you trying to say? It’s just an absolute abortion of a word, and my feelings on it have only grown stronger over the years. A stupid word for a stupid cause
at this point, we’ll have to reluctantly use force to stop trump. seriously!
