Yes, and his statement implied that a bad faith actor could just make up charges and have them filled against any political opponents to prohibit them from running for office. That would not have been the case for Trump. He broke the fucking law in plain sight for the world to see, then the judges he appointed intentionally prevented him from having to face justice for his actions.

Running for political office isn’t an excuse to avoid justice.

No dude. This wasn’t some made up charge for a bullshit crime. The fucking world saw what he said, what he did, and didn’t do, and multiple people died because of his actions. He should have been put in prison until his day in court, like anyone else would have been. Having the money to run for political office isn’t a means of avoiding justice

Exactly. If Trump has any lasting legacy, I hope that it’s he’s shown Americans the absolute worst that our government and country can be, which motivates people to come out and vote. We can do better. America and the world deserves better. Our kids deserve better.

If someone is giving tens of thousands directly to Trump’s campaign, you can pretty much guarantee that they have firearms, jewelry, cash, etc at their residence.
