Republicans will continue to vote Republican. I have zero confidence in any of these headlines.
It’s not about changing the Republican vote. They’re worried that Democrats will start coming out and voting in off-cycle elections (e.g. midterms), which is not something a lot of Democrats do regularly.
If Democrats voted as often as Republicans, we’d have a whole different political landscape right now. That’s why they’re worried.
My God the American electoral system is retarded. Why on earth don’t you have compulsory universal suffrage? And voting on weekends, why isn’t that a thing? Unbelievable
