Former US Vice-President Mike Pence has warned that if President Vladimir Putin succeeds with Russia’s war in Ukraine “it’ll only be a matter of time before he crossed the border of a Nato country”.
Speaking to BBC Newsnight, Pence called for security guarantees in Ukraine to help deliver “just and lasting peace”.
Is he evolving? Maybe just a little, or maybe his handlers are trying to not get Europe “annexed” into Russia too.
I feel like the guy had enough foresight not to get in the car. This feels the same. He may be a creepy Christian nationalist with few morals but he has enough Spidey sense to recognize dangers in the world.

Vance is infinitely worse. Like when people talk about trump dying, it’s like hol up, I’m not sure it gets better after that. It could certainly get worse because he’s not cartoony.
Edit for clarification: I’m not saying Vance is infinitely worse than trump. Just pence and Quayle. And that without the cartoon villain Trump in the way, I could see Vance going full Bond villain.
