I’ve been listening to a ton of classic xmas albums lately, and want some more to add to my xmas playlist.
Thx in advance.
Is that Matt Dillon at the beginning of that video??
I’ll be mainstream and I’ll say:
Underneath the tree by Kelly Clarkson
But I’d like to mention:
- Last Christmas by wham
- War is over by John Lennon and yoko Ono
- I’ll be home for Christmas sung by Tate McRae. Unfortunately that one seems like an apple music exclusive. I think it’s a nice cover though
Carol of the Bells, by Trans Siberian Orchestra… Hands down.
Song for a winter’s night ~ Gordon Lightfoot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is38naHuxjE&list=PLI8b91hMs6oIYysSHfcsQoqVqwdAD6Q_b&index=1
Christmas Wrap by the Waitresses.
White Christmas.
The melody and chords both more complex than the average poppy Christmas song and yet are still musically perfect to me somehow.
The movie is surprisingly good too.
Somehow I’ve never heard this one until today, and I loved it. It really is a beautiful song, and I’m not even religious
Harry Belafonte did a good amount of xmas songs, all of them great.

Up Above the Northern Lights. Believe that’s a Mannheim Steamroller
Anything by Darlene Love.
Volume: 11/10
Let the bodies hit the floor by Bing Cosby
lol
Snowman by sia has been one of my favorites a couple of years
I’m not Christian/religious at all, but I still have a very deep nostalgia for classic Christmas hymns like Silent Night, O Holy Night, etc. I remember sitting beside my tree as a child listening to our music lights playing midis of all of them. The lyrics can be discarded entirely.
