I don’t think a 20 year old dating a 17 year old falls into that category but it would fall under the legal definition you’re referring to in many states. That’s the problem with drawing arbitrary lines, you usually end up labeling some things incorrectly. That doesn’t mean you get rid of the line but understanding the context is still important.

That being said, there is no amount of context that will lessen the creepiness of a 50+ year old man serially preying upon 15 year old girls. I don’t get why you guys say stuff like this. I’ve seen dozens of articles that do more than hint at a possibility that Trump has dementia. So have you. I’d be willing to bet that your belief that he has dementia came from one of those articles. Why then are you saying no one has mentioned it?

We did that with Biden. Good thing he took his responsibility seriously and went after Trump for attempting to overthrow the government. Whoops, I guess he forgot that part of the plan.

I will bat more than an eye and I’m sure many others will as well. Some are already doing so. I have yet to experience any of this firsthand but if the day comes when I have to choose between watching violence being done to my fellow citizens and stopping said violence I know what I will choose.

Sooner or later that contempt will come back around. Some of them will not enjoy that day.

I have thought about this very topic quite a bit over the years. Maybe I’m more judgemental than you but I don’t think anyone who doesn’t have a few specific handicaps is incapable of developing critical thinking skills. The people who don’t develop them simply don’t want to and that’s something I feel more than justified in blaming them for. That may not be accurate in reality but I don’t know how you could prove which one of our views is more correct.

Games don’t feel like they’re made with fun as the goal anymore. The goal is engagement (which is significantly different from fun) to drive monetization in one form or another. It makes the whole process of playing feel tedious and empty.
