Either party leadership will realize the error of its ways or it won’t. Maybe they’ll listen to the folks flooding their phone lines and town halls and maybe they won’t. No, the non-primary was on purpose. Biden didn’t want to have to pass the torch at the end of a single term and the party let him have the nom because he was president.
