Too bad the company is in the shitter. More power to them though! Who knows, maybe they’ll turn things around.

Man this trailer fucking THREW me. At first I thought the man that was chained and the celebration were separate, then was like ‘oh! Classic pagan wicker man, cool’ then the dudes fucking back burst open and oh my fucking god I’m def on board
I am so god damned excited it’s finally happening. Expanding on the lore from the first, with new environments, new weapons, bringing the brother in because the sister is missing…just…fuck man I don’t want to wait. For those who haven’t played it: Control Ultimate Edition is currently on sale. 100 percent recommend that game over and over.

Wait what? So is it a Divinity game in the same universe but will be a different genre? I’m confused…
Bro you NEED to go back and finish it, and DEF play the DLCs as well. Fucking amazing game.

I get the verbiage needs to be accurate but I doubt they’re cancelling it completely, they’re just cancelling with that particular studio because of their use of AI slop, right? Not that this is high on my list or something, just a shame if this is the last we hear of the game.

Honestly not really that different from Reddit. My only warning is make sure to check the community a post is from that you see on ‘main’. There’s a couple female only communities and holy shit do they get pissed if you accidentally comment because you found a topic interesting enough to but didn’t check that it was a female only community.

I honestly don’t give a fuck. My only hope is he whistle blows and brings down as much as shit as possible when he is fired

It looks phenomenal, but I’m trying to figure out what type of gameplay this is. The Steam page states it’s Single Player, but also online PvP and CoOp as well. So is it something that’s like GTFO but you can play against other squads optionally? I definitely like the gritty art / cyberpunk aesthetic to it. Graphics and destroyable environs look pretty well done too.

Holy shit how long was that? A month? Max? Hopefully this serves as an example of how fucking stupid this is.

Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope.

Right. This is the whole issue with these studies as the data is skewed. The only people getting into ‘wars’ are single brain cell fuckheads who can’t resist spewing rhetoric on a game store and/or associated forum. Normal users are using the platform as intended.

So some of the Steam reviews are pretty scathing on this game but I don’t understand the hate. It’s like a blend between Resident Evil and Dead Space. Basically combat isn’t primary, exploration is rewarded. The storytelling and voice acting is prime. Idk, I loved it and did a couple playthroughs without issue. New Game + makes it much more fun the second time through but even on first run as long as you’re prioritizing upgrading inventory and weap damage you shouldn’t have much issue.

Ugh. Now I get to fantasize about that for a week.

It’ll probably be similar to 5 where there will be different areas but probably as separate map DLCs, at least that would be my guess. Would love to be proven wrong though.

I’m wondering if this was a case for greed or need. Were they in the hole and just trying to break even? Or did they think they had a sure thing? My issue with small indie companies taking on things like this is you could do a ton of creative marketing to drum up sales. ‘get 3 friends to buy a copy and we will give you 3 free months!’ or ‘buy the game at retail and get 6 months free’ idk, just seems dumb to shoot yourself in the foot right out the gate.

Yeah I feel like these stories are waaay too common. It’s crazy this shit is still completely unregulated. Just shows how our of touch our current political systems are.

Completely agree

Fucking hell did she really need to throw in the red scare bullshit?
Bluey and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (of not the remake) for kids shows. Bluey isa. Double hitter as it’s great for kids and adults as well. There’s a few tearjerker episodes in there for adults around life and kids growing up, along with just great ideas on how to parent and play. MMCH is great as it doesn’t subscribe to the overly energetic constant cutting camera angles bullshit that’s super addictive and bad for kids. Shows are calm, involve learning and problem solving, and are very much like ‘okay get up and expend some energy, go play’ at the end. Honorable mention to Tumbleleaf. It’s for kids that are a bit older, is a little more weird, but still fun. Art style is cool on it as well. Best of luck building your library and congrats on being a dad!!
