Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope.

Right. This is the whole issue with these studies as the data is skewed. The only people getting into ‘wars’ are single brain cell fuckheads who can’t resist spewing rhetoric on a game store and/or associated forum. Normal users are using the platform as intended.

So some of the Steam reviews are pretty scathing on this game but I don’t understand the hate. It’s like a blend between Resident Evil and Dead Space. Basically combat isn’t primary, exploration is rewarded. The storytelling and voice acting is prime. Idk, I loved it and did a couple playthroughs without issue. New Game + makes it much more fun the second time through but even on first run as long as you’re prioritizing upgrading inventory and weap damage you shouldn’t have much issue.

Ugh. Now I get to fantasize about that for a week.

It’ll probably be similar to 5 where there will be different areas but probably as separate map DLCs, at least that would be my guess. Would love to be proven wrong though.

I’m wondering if this was a case for greed or need. Were they in the hole and just trying to break even? Or did they think they had a sure thing? My issue with small indie companies taking on things like this is you could do a ton of creative marketing to drum up sales. ‘get 3 friends to buy a copy and we will give you 3 free months!’ or ‘buy the game at retail and get 6 months free’ idk, just seems dumb to shoot yourself in the foot right out the gate.

Yeah I feel like these stories are waaay too common. It’s crazy this shit is still completely unregulated. Just shows how our of touch our current political systems are.

Completely agree

Fucking hell did she really need to throw in the red scare bullshit?

Nah. He for sure is on there. I want them all to burn.

Oh man I hope they expand on grow home and grow up. Both fun little titles that my kids absolutely adore when they were younger.

Okay I guess, haha. Game does deserve it. I bought the game early on and it is insane how much content they added. I started up my old save and felt like I had an entirely new game to play again. It’s not ARK levels of complexity, but it’s pretty close.

At a certain complexity level my brain just shuts down. This looks amazing but also looks complicated as hell to learn. Are there decent tutorials?

I don’t think I ever saw him in something I didn’t like. Dude had chops. RIP.

Ah gotcha. That’s what I get for not reading the article.

Wasn’t the first game literally a scam?? I never dove into news about it but it seems weird they’d come around and try again.

I found out about this today and am hyped as fuck. Shipbreaker was such an amazing zen game for me, but god damn did I need more ship models. Modding tools would be great, or just more content. If not that, a sequel. Just overall excited and hope it doesn’t take 5 years for the next game to come out.

I’m genuinely curious: Are there actual improvement / content mods for this game or is most of it gooner shit?

It’s a shame as I’d like to see a co-op survival placed in the Zero Dawn universe but yeah, they obviously ripped off the art style, creatures, even the armors look similar.
Holy shit how long was that? A month? Max? Hopefully this serves as an example of how fucking stupid this is.
