His legacy is now intrinsically linked to Donald Trump’s next term. If anything we’re afraid of happening comes to fruition, it will be Biden’s fault for enabling another Trump term.

If we’re talking 90+ percentile then no question I’d go with smarts and use it to have a big impact on some field of science. Otherwise I’d probably still pick smarts but it’s more of a tossup.

These people are so predictable and unoriginal. “Fiercely oppose wherever the opposition is doing and vow to accomplish the opposite” is their entire platform. Their entire ideology is reduced to devout contrarianism.

Oh there are many of us across the political spectrum that are aware of how our two party system fails us. For the record, I don’t expect things to be different but in light of how bad things are it’s hard not to get my hopes up especially when there’s a good chance at meaningful change.

Many of us are becoming further and further disillusioned with our political system. However, things are changing slowly. Municipalities are introducing ranked choice voting systems and there are efforts to expand that to the state level. Maybe someday we’ll put this mess behind us.

That does it for me. I’m changing my voter registration to independent. This party no longer represents me.

It’s great to see the Democrats have learned absolutely nothing and continue to refuse to evolve.

Wow, super disappointed to see some of these high profile names.

Will be writing my reps later today and I sent a few bucks to Bernie since I figure what better way to tell a politician they’re barking up the right tree?

I know online petitions are generally cringe but if there was one backing up Bernie’s stance here and telling the Dems to get their heads out of their own asses, I’d sign it in a heartbeat. If other people feel similarly, maybe we should get the ball rolling? Best case Dems get the message, worst case we waste our time and nothing changes, right?
