Goddamn, we’re all fucking corruptable for a price, aren’t we?

As someone who lived in Texas for a decade, I was fully prepared for the US to abandon me after we voted in Greg Abbott again. Gubnatorial elections are popular vote elections not affected by Gerrymandering. We didn’t even have THAT excuse.

That being said, I always said that the rest of the US should cut off everything Oklahome going South and Texas going East as long as they offered a refugee program for those of us not batshit insane.

The only thing that would suck would be leaving behind the kiddos who dont have a say in where their crazy ass parents choose to live.

Bruh, as someone whose pay is 100% caught up in this shutdown, I applaud the Dems.

They might be protecting the status quo atm, but as least they’re taking a stand against shit getting worse. Everyone has to start somewhere!

Right? Like for fuck’s sake, he could have at LEAST pressured Merrick Garland to do his goddamned job!

I think the list of times he’s voted with the Democrats would be shorter/more notable.

Oh no, they’re all over fucking Texas. At least in the cities. San Antonio just had a BUNCH of people arrested at the Courthouses last week. Its fucking infuriating.

This is always my answer to this question. I thought radio stations must have been the busiest places with all those bands coming and going!

He wants to send his daughters to school in a place where they’re not only being valued for their wombs. Where they’re looked at as being equal contributors to their field of study. Where they’re provided opportunities the same as every other scholar there, and not assumed to be in college to find a husband.

And, yes, there is a bit of “if they get into trouble will they have options?” At play I’m sure as well.
