that Biden’s pardon are void? No.Trump also uses autopen at times. Trump is just throwing shit at the wall and see what sticks.
Not only that, but he’s specifically testing things that they might use on him if by some miracle Trump is held to account. If his protest of Biden’s pardons do not stick, and we somehow emerge out of this authoritarian hell, his sycophants will say “Hey, you didn’t invalidate Biden’s pardons even though we proved they were illegal, don’t go near Trump’s pardons!”
This is one of those few hard lines he could cross that would actually get me in the street. This, running for a 3rd term., probably something else too.
Trump seriously needs someone to explain to him that the whole point of pardons is that they cannot be un-pardoned.
Just because he’s a fat, hypocritical, dementia and cocaine addled doesn’t mean that he isn’t going to make this true with his brown shirt justice department.
Hopefully this leads to the death of the presidential pardon. It screws up the concept of checks and balances by allowing the executive branch bypass the judiciary.
