“We know he will fight for the economic interests of working families in Michigan, unlike Mike Rogers, who is a tool of Donald Trump and billionaire donors.”
Democrats across the party’s ideological spectrum—in Michigan and around the country—rallied behind US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed after his erstwhile primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens, endorsed Republican Mike Rogers two days before a race that could decide control of the upper chamber.
While Stevens claimed in a CNN appearance Sunday night that she’s “been hearing from a ton of Dems” privately voicing support for her decision, she received nothing but backlash from fellow Democrats in public. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who quietly supported Stevens in her primary contest against El-Sayed, said that “this is a despicable betrayal from Rep. Stevens.”
Maybe she’s doing the Batman in Dark Knight thing. She’s not the hero we need, but the one we deserve.
Haley Stevens did the “who’s coming with me” scene from Jerry McGuire, and the only person that followed her was her israel obsessed boyfriend.
When even Schumer reads the room better than you. How’s the underside of the bus looking?
So…Haley endorses Mike Roger’s political positions and therefore Trumps positions? I’d like to ask her that.
Don’t worry, Anderson Cooper asked her last night in one of the most unhinged interviews I’ve seen in a long time (4:53 for a question about her now agreeing with Mike Rogers)
That, right there, is a Saturday Night Live skit.
I thought the exact same thing! The facials ticks, the thick northern Midwest accent, the clicking nails on the desk, the absolute nonsense statements…
She’s from fucking Rochester Hills; no one sounds like that there.
She has fucking lost it.
Hilarious. What a shitbag.
