The headline doesn’t tell the whole story: Trump removed tariffs from same Canadian products, and added tariffs to others. This is strictly to help Collins, not provide any improvement in the US’s relationship with Canada.

Export tarrifs is a sketchy game to start playing. We still buy a bunch of food and other important stuff from the USA. I try not to, but I wouldnt want to impact food security.
Maybe the people selling tge specialized stuff to farmers just increase their price for Americans. This is definitely a situation where we the individuals have the collective power to fuck them.
