I think we may need to rethink “free speech”. Is my speech free, when someone can drown me out with $$$; can’t realistically speak above the firehose. Like, some people have the ability to hve “free-er” speech than others.
We can fix that, we can do whatever the fuck we want.
People just need to:
Realize it’s possible
Vote for people willing to do it.
trumps broken the bullshit excuse that modern president can’t do anything. We don’t have to settle for some old fuck who just “looks into” fixing shit.
We can elect someone who just fixes shit and makes the courts react to it. Stop thinking that the max we can do is what gets pre-emptively cleared by the courts, and just fix shit and see if the courts are really going to try and take it from people.
If there’s not the political capital to refresh the entire SC, nationalize some healthcare companies and see what people say when the SC tries to undo it.
If people get that mentality, it won’t even be a fight against us.
