No longer ‘militias’. That would make them somewhat independent and not reflecting on the government.
They are proud official and accepted regiments and battalions of their army.

What’s funny is the supposed progressive candidate for senate in my state, Peggy Flanagan, has a statement on her website that says: “America has the responsibility to […] promote democratic values around the world.” And part of that wonderful plan lists supporting these Ukrainian Nazis as a must. I’m not sure why I have an obligation to “spread democracy” (yikes) across the world here from Minnesota.
Among others is: “rebuilding NATO ties”, “cracking down on foreign actors like China who cheat to undercut American workers and Minnesota businesses”, and while she does say she supports an immediate halt to weapons to Isreal, proposes a 2-state solution just like every other liberal who doesn’t actually want to solve the rabid problem of Israel’s genocide.
