Agents surrounded the man and child in his car before firing multiple rounds, according to Zohran Mamdani

A US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent shot a man in New York City on Thursday afternoon, according to the city’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani.

Early reports indicated that agents had surrounded the man and a five-year-old child in his car before firing multiple rounds, the mayor said in a statement on Thursday evening. The child was physically unharmed, according to Mamdani.

The individual who was shot was conscious and taken to a hospital, the NYPD said in a brief statement.

    This only ends when cops arrest any ice agents they see and charge them with criminal conspiracy.

    We can’t keep pretending this is anything else, because Trump’s obviously going to step it up before the election, and then have ICE at polls to keep people away.

      The same police who are supplying ICE “agents”? And/or who implicitly agreeing with and ignoring the presence of ICE in their own city? I’m sure this will resolve quickly, then!

        You’re also drastically over estimating how much cops like ICE. Assholes rarely like other assholes showing up, it’s a territory thing.

        What the fuck is your alternative? Just do nothing and hope it works out?

        How about you go do that instead of telling people nothing will work so it’s pointless?

          Even in “blue” or “purple” states, not seeing anything close to your claim… unless I’m missing something obvious?

            I think the issue is being able to put a couple thoughts together, you’re not missing any necessary information, you’re just not putting it together

        Yes for all the bluster they have had over the decades they really are a wet towel. Protest on weekends for a couple hours. Oh there is nothing we can do. Well if that is their outlook I hope they enjoy where ever they end up.

        Don’t know how it ended but Mineopolos? I think at least tried not sure it accomplished their goal though.
