One person who isn’t due to visit soon is former Vice President Kamala Harris. She hasn’t been to South Carolina since April, when she participated in a party fundraiser alongside a tour for her book recounting the whirlwind 2024 presidential campaign.
But Harris’ deep relations in the state mean she doesn’t need to come as early or as often as others, who are still gaining name recognition.

I mean… The reason they’re doing this is to help their own election in 2 years, but you’re not supposed to say that out loud.
So when people ask Kamala why she didn’t go to SC to help, well, she’s actually dumb enough to say “I didn’t need the help in SC” completely missing the point that actually wanting and trying to help the midterm candidates is better than helping yourself.
Fuck all these selfish neoliberals, we can’t afford to keep wasting time on them, we need people who’s main priority is helping people, not who’s only priority is getting elected.
South Carolina has no bearing on the general. Stop allowing media to tell you it does.
