Indeed. A phone that costs half as much can pretty much do the same job… I doubt I’d notice performance issues or hit the limit of what the CPU can do on a cheaper phone. I just learned I can use Unexpected Keyboard through f-droid, although there is no auto-correct, it tends to be very smooth and lightweight compared to other keyboards. People don’t know it, but the keyboard is a resource hog. It’s always calculating things every time the cursor is moved.

yeah just like in the video games when you c4 anything that you can’t take with you, just to deny it to the enemy :)
but the chinese have their own fabs with newer tech that they can fully control – they don’t need nor want our fabs anymore.
