Federal officials say the fruit was recalled due to potential salmonella contamination. Here are the states where the mangoes were sold.

Salmonella infection can cause diarrhea, fever, stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Symptoms generally begin six hours to six days after exposure. The FDA said that no illnesses linked to the recall have been reported.

The FDA says the mangoes were sold on dates ranging from Aug. 10 to Aug. 21 in the following states:

Connecticut
New York
New Jersey
Pennsylvania

The agency noted what consumers should look out for to identify the recalled fruits: “The recalled mangoes are packaged in a Martina-branded case. The individual mangoes can be identified by a light blue sticker with the label Agrofepac, Produce of Mexico, and a PLU number of 4584 and UPC #07503061948050.”
