they never actually did follow that creed. ever. at the start it was the typical immature startup. hell bent on gaining users and market share at any cost while refining their ‘products’. the goal was always sell high or go public. regardless of which path, “evil” always drives the bus.
How far has google fallen? Reader, in 1996 they were a goddamned miracle. Now? The world is objectively worse off due to their existence.
