Imagination Library, the nonprofit founded by Parton that sends free books to children across the world, faces an uncertain future in Indiana and Missouri as Republican lawmakers limit public funding, Newsweekreported Wednesday.

Okay so after reading the article, the funds had already been taken away prior to her recent passing. The headline however makes it sound like they were vultures who didn’t even wait for her body to be cold before they came in and denied millions of dollars to school children. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still upset that the money is gone from a good cause, but this kind of misleading wording just keeps chipping away at whatever faith I still have in the media
I mean, it’s not like they aren’t still taking it away. They praise her and her charity only to take all they can away from it while nobody’s looking.
