It was hardly the first time that someone on social media called someone else fat. But it may have been the first time that a vice president of the United States did so.
Peeved at a conservative columnist who criticized his position on Iran, Vice President JD Vance jabbed on Wednesday at his physical appearance. “If you’ve ever met him in person,” he wrote on social media, “it’s quite obvious the man has never missed a burrito.”
…
“Vice President Vance’s willingness publicly to disparage others in personal terms stands apart from the behavior of modern vice presidents during the last half-century,” said Joel K. Goldstein, a scholar of the vice presidency at the St. Louis University School of Law. Whatever his motivation, Mr. Goldstein added, “it departs from the norms associated with the office and undermines the goal of promoting rational public discourse.”
JD wants to grow up to be president one day, but he’s bothered by fat, he thinks it’s a personal failure, and he’s too sensitive to hear criticism about Iran, lol.
I hope the Iranian Lego guys drop a new video on this, because he just handed them his insecurities on a platter, lol.
The correct response would be a picture of trump, a picture of Vance pre-ozempic…
And asking why he isn’t giving those peptides to his daddy if obesity is so serious.
Not because insults are effective, but because it could piss trump off that JD is making fun of fat people. It puts JD on the backpedal, and would cause him a great amount of stress over if trump would be pissed.
While also highlighting that Vance couldn’t lose the weight on his own but also was vain enough that his weight matters, attacking his masculine ego over how he wasn’t able to do it on his own and still cares what others think.
Like…
These people are fucking idiots, it’s not hard to figure out what to respond with to fuck with them the most. All you need is cause some cognitive dissonance so they don’t have a path where they can stick to all the talking points.
If being fat is bad, what the fuck is trump doing? Or the majority of his voters even
“If you’ve ever met him in person,” he wrote on social media, “it’s quite obvious the man has never missed a burrito.”
This is an objectively hilarious thing to say, I won’t even try to hide my laughter
