Well, it’s becoming crystal clear why Blanche is being pushed through appointment; he’s a bag man.
It was announced a few minutes ago that they may be pulling his nomination because too many Republicans wanted concessions for it.
A bunch of Republicans want him to drop the 1.7 billion fund set up for Jan6ers and Trump fans. He’s been very slippery on that front so they’re refusing to vote for him. But yea Blanche is basically Trump’s personal lawyer and he would turn the DoJ even more into Trump’s personal law firm.
Scrambling? They’re just flat out lying on camera and refusing to genuinely release a huge portion of the files or to remove their perpetrator-protecting redactions, even for other law enforcement agencies. They’re very clearly and very actively trying to cover it up by simply sitting and doing nothing, we all know it, and we’re not bothering to riot in the streets until it changes.
We know the sitting US President raped kids, and we’re all just going along with life and paying taxes as normal. If the Emperor of France was outed as a child rapist their entire country would be on fire before lunch time.
The DoJ is doing the total opposite of scrambling. They’re just doing nothing. They don’t investigate financial crimes, or federal agents gunning random innocent folk down in the street. They definitely don’t investigate child rape, or adult rape. They just stopped even bothering to put on a public performance of “justice.”
