Shuv Majumdar says in a letter to Prime Minister Mark Carney that the Conservatives want an emergency meeting of the Standing Committee on International Trade next week, and Ottawa needs to table its written plans at the hearings.

I don’t trust it. I wouldn’t put it past them to tip our hand to the Americans.

    There is no official, comprehensive public count of how many current Conservative (PC / CPC) Members of Parliament hold U.S. citizenship, as MPs are not required by the Parliament of Canada or the Elections Canada framework to disclose secondary citizenships unless specified by standard conflict-of-interest rules.

    How is being a citizen of another country NOT a conflict of interest for a Canadian Member of Parliament? This country is so fucked.
