Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that the Pentagon will begin requiring annual testosterone deficiency screenings for active-duty service members age 30 and older.

While the screenings will be mandatory for eligible service members, Hegseth said that any resulting treatment would remain voluntary. “If treatment is recommended, it’s entirely your choice to receive testosterone replacement therapy,” he said.
