    There is no such thing as a “low information” voter. Someone who votes because Mars in retrograde is just as legitimate as the vote cast by the head of the dep. of Political Science. The idea that some votes are more legitimate or should count more (or at all), is authoritarianism and anti-democracy.

      Low information doesn’t mean low value or less value. It just means they are voting without knowing what they are actually for and how it will affect them. For whatever reasons that may be.

      Low information voters are incredibly valuable if you can get them to vote “your way”

      There very much are many low information voters of all stripes, on both sides or thinking they are centrist.

      And they are very, very valuable if you can get them to vote or not vote through throwing out distractions. While their participation or lack of lets your guy win.
