So I have no compelling reason to believe that they were progressive as much as they are anti-progressive. Her reaching out to Mamdani could be interpreted as a genuine reach out trying to escape typical DNC tether. Fact is her lackluster performance last time does indicate she’s a poor “performer” thus a poor choice to win against raging republicanz.
She was given many opportunities to do this when she was Vice and actively refused then was disrespectful about it when she was protested for it. People don’t forget that kind of blatant slap in the face. This “effort” if real is going to be far too late for many.
She thought neoliberals would accept her, that she was Biden’s VP pick because she was being groomed to be a leader.
