The Senate on Tuesday voted to block U.S. military action in Iran for the first time as the war approaches its fourth month.
The war powers resolution passed by a vote of 50–48. Sen. John Fetterman, again, was the lone Democrat to vote in the negative.
Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Dave McCormick, who was in his home state for a visit by President Trump to a Mack truck plant in the Lehigh Valley, was absent.
Four Republicans — Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana — supported the measure.
Fetterman is a Hasidic term and a common Jewish surname. And now he’s fucking over his constituents, your American brothers and sisters, to benefit Israel.

And before anyone accuses me of being an Israel supporter, I find Zionism repellent, I abhor Israel’s genocide of Palestinians and its invasion of Lebanon, and I’m in full sympathy with the Palestinian people. Israel is a sick country right now. But a Jew is not the same thing as a Zionist, and many American Jews feel just as I do about these things.

The -man suffix is common in non-Jewish families in PA thanks to multiple waves of German immigration. Zimmerman (or Zimmermann) is a common name among the Amish, for instance.
It has nothing to do with being Jewish.
